Vivo V80 FE Surfaces on BIS Platform Ahead of Expected Launch
The Vivo V80 FE has officially surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website under the model number V2624. Because of this certification filing, industry watchers anticipate that a domestic release in India is right around the corner. While the manufacturer has kept official details under wraps, this regulatory appearance signals that retail rollout plans are actively moving forward.
Vivo V80 Fe: Building Upon the Success of Previous V-Series Handsets
The upcoming handset is slated to replace the earlier Vivo V70 FE, which debuted in April with a MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor and a massive 200-megapixel main rear camera. Positioned as a more accessible entry within the broader V80 family, the Vivo V80 FE aims to capture value-conscious buyers who still demand premium photography capabilities and long-lasting daily battery performance.
Expected Specifications and Retail Expectations
- Model Number: V2624 listed on BIS database
- Expected Battery: 7,000mAh capacity with fast wired charging support
- Display: High-refresh-rate OLED panel with slim bezels
- Rear Camera: Advanced multi-lens setup inheriting brand-signature optics
Although the regulatory filing omits specific hardware breakdowns, past release patterns indicate that the Vivo V80 FE will likely maintain the high-capacity power cell tradition seen in its predecessor. Meanwhile, standard flagship models in the lineup feature robust Snapdragon silicon, Zeiss-branded optics, and heavy-duty dust and water resistance ratings.
What This Means for Prospective Smartphone Buyers
For everyday consumers shopping in the upper mid-range segment, the arrival of the Vivo V80 FE introduces another compelling alternative to devices from competitors like OnePlus and Motorola. Pricing is expected to sit competitively below the standard V80 tier, which launched at Rs. 62,999. That said, buyers prioritizing absolute raw gaming power might weigh it against dedicated performance flagships.
